Fully steel trigger mechanism IRON 10 from AirsoftGuns Custom Parts series for VSR sniper rifles and compatible models. Trigger mechanism is one of the most loaded parts in airsoft sniper rifle. Therefore it is an essential part of a complete upgrade of the airsoft gun to a stronger spring. IRON 10 is absolutely revolutionary version of VSR-10 trigger mechanism. Therefore it is an essential part of a complete upgrade of the airsoft gun to a stronger spring. IRON 10 is absolutely revolutionary version of VSR-10 trigger mechanism. We used only steel for manufacturing of whole IRON 10 trigger mechanism. No compromises in materials as are aluminum and its alloys what is usual in common airsoft production - we use steel only! Steel ČSN class 10 (EN S185) was used on the trigger box. Steel ČSN 12.050 (EN C45) was chosen for the production of load parts after long-term testing, which allows good machining and subsequent modifications. The most stressed internal parts such as piston sear, spring guide catch and internal trigger lever were launching on CNC laser and machined on CNC milling center. Than were hardened and subsequently tempered to a hardness of 50 HRC. Compared to competitive products is the resistance of parts much higher. The same parameters are achieved only products from Japanese company PDI, but there is price of stressed components several times higher. Value of 50 HRC has proven to be ideal for high hardness and excellent toughness.
All steel parts were finally surface treated with black galvanizing - which prevents corrosion, improves the surface properties of the material and it also improves the overall appearance of machined parts. Six high strength screws were used for assembling of trigger body and for anchor of moving parts were used five pins from stainless steel.
This type of trigger mechanism is usually called as 90° because the piston sear is in vertical position. Most basic trigger mechanisms of VSR type use a 45° piston sear. The construction advantage of the 90° piston sear is especially durability and reliability even with the use of extremely hard springs. So the 90° option is a practical necessity for stronger upgrades. Spring guide stopper shaped "L" passed through innovative solution. It is firmly connected to sides of trigger mechanism. There is no danger of deflection or gradual unfixing as with other manufacturers. We have used this innovative solution as first in the world!
Movement of the trigger is fully adjustable by screw and after that you can permanent fix your prefered position by second screw too. Thanks to direct trigger bearing is resistance during pressing of the trigger very small, trigger go very smoothly of course. IRON 10 is also pre-configured to install original SAFE lever. But full SAFE lever function will require technical skill of each user. Main reason for this half-solution is to minimize sales price of product. Also fact that most users remove SAFE lever anyway, because it is quite uncomfortable when bolt is pulled.
Weight of the trigger set is 200g. Don't expect weight like similar aluminum or alloy types. Iron just something weighs.
This upgrade part is primarily designed for use with Stainless Bore Up cylinder set VSR BU from series AirsoftGuns Custom Parts. Design was tested on models VSR-10 from brands Tokyo Marui and Cyma. This trigger set is also applicable to cheaper Chinese copies of the same technical solution as they are BAR-10 from Jing Gong or MB02, MB03, MB07, M09, M10 a MB11 from Well.
For correct install of upgrade parts is necessary knowledge about function of airsoft sniper rifle, some technical background and often are necessary some adjustments.
