The G19 is a more compact model based on the basic and most widespread variant of the full-size G17 pistol. Like every GBB pistol, it has, among other things, a realistic disassembly, a slide catch and is also equipped with a functional tongue safety on the trigger. Thanks to the double-sided slide catch and double-sided magazine release (can be rotated), this pistol can be operated equally well by right-handed and left-handed people. The higher weight of the entire model and the ingeniously roughened surface of the stock contribute to a pleasant and secure hold.

The front grooves of the FS (front serrations) of the slide improve the possibilities of manipulating the pistol. MOS (Modular Optic System) allows for easy mounting of a collimator on the slide of the weapon. The adapter plates supplied with the pistol can be used to mount Docter, Trijicon, C-More and Leupold type sights.

The polymer frame of the 5th generation has removed all shaping for fingers and an expanded lower part of the magazine well for more comfortable magazine insertion. Another minor change on this model is the beveling of the front part of the slide, which helps to better insert the weapon into the holster. The bar in front of the trigger guard offers easy mounting of tactical accessories

Due to the movable slide, it is necessary to perform regular user disassembly. Therefore, clean the weapon carefully, lubricate the sliding surfaces and all sealing O-rings in the valves. Silicone oil and Vaseline, which you can find in the accessories tab, are the most suitable for this. Only in this way will the correct and reliable reloading function in self-loading mode be ensured. For the reasons mentioned above, GBB pistols are most often used by active "military" airsoft units. They have also gained popularity among individuals who want to safely train in handling and shooting with a weapon, i.e. outside the shooting range.

The Umarex brand offers Glock Gen5 FS MOS GAS airsoft pistols with magazines in two types of drive. For the widespread classic GAS (Green Gas, Red GAS) or a variant with a magazine allowing the insertion of a 12g CO2 cartridge. The CO2 variant is slightly more powerful due to the drive used (can also be used at lower temperatures), but less stable for shooting (greater subcooling of the Hop-Up rubber band, less consistent dosing). The GAS version is a little more precise and the parts/seals are less stressed. Both versions have their advantages and disadvantages, so the final choice is up to each of you!
